Online Poker Room Offers NFL Football Team Tournaments - 10-01-06

October 1 - As the NFL season is now well underway, why not combine your support for your favorite NFL team with your online poker play? The Party Poker Gridiron Games promotion is there to celebrate the return of the football season...

Starting today through to Monday, February 5, 2007, your poker play could earn you a share of more than $200,000.

To get a shot at some of the cash, all you need to do is earn 300 regular PartyPoints

IF you earn 300 PartyPoints between Sunday and Saturday each week, you will receive one Gridiron Games freeroll ticket. The ticket is only valid for that week's freeroll, and you can only earn one per week.

Use that freeroll to sign up for one of the two Gridiron Tournaments available in the tournament lobby. Each tournament will be named after one of the football teams playing on Sunday night. Sign up for the tournament named after the team that you think will win (e.g., The Giants).

If that team wins, you will get a ticket into the Monday $10,000 tournament. If you picked losing team, you will play on Monday for $2,500.

For Example:

Say the Cowboys and Giants play one another on a Sunday night, and you have earned 300 regular PartyPoints durign that week, and receive your Gridiron Games freeroll.

Now look for the tournaments in the tourney lobby, one will be named after the Cowboys and the other after the Giants.

Let's say you think the Cowboys will win. You join that tourney.

If the Cowboys win the game, you and everyone that registered for the Cowboys tournament will play for $10,000 the next day (Monday) at 20:00 ET (or 20:30 ET) and everyone who registered for the Giants tournament will play for $2,500 the next day (Monday) at 20:00 ET (or 20:30 ET).
