Online Roulette Rules

Roulette is a simple game. A spin-the-wheel game.  With land based casinos, players place their bets on the tables' marked area, and the dealer does the rest.  The player waits for the ball to spin and drop into a numbered slot (either black or red)! Online Roulette is very similar, with 3 basic steps: 1) once the player has decided how much to bet, he moves his mouse over the marked table to the area matching his bet. 2) He then clicks the left button and deposits chips on the table. Right clicking will remove chips. He can also bet on individual numbers or on the borders shared by 2 or 4 numbers - exactly the same as on a normal Roulette table. 3) He then presses the "spin" button - once he has decided on his bet and placed the bet, he can start spinning the wheel. The roulette wheel will spin and the ball will be placed on the wheel. The ball will finally stop spinning and rest on one of the numbered slots on the wheel. The player wins should that ball fall within or on the range of any of the bets he made. If the number falls with in the range of any one of your bets then you have won.

Types of Bets

1.    Column Bet    -    The Roulette table has 3 boxes on the short side. The boxes are marked "2 to 1."and each signifies the 12 numbers above it. When a player places a chip in 1 of these boxes, he marks all of the 12 numbers above it (0 and 00 excluded). If the ball stops at any one of these numbers, he has won and the bet pays 2 to 1.

2.    Corner Bet    -    Corner bets are identical to street bets except they cover 4 numbers. The chip is placed on the cross where the 4 numbers meet. If the ball lands on any of the 4 numbers, the player wins and the bet pays out  8 to 1.

3.    Dozens Bet    -    A player can bet on a group of 12 numbers by placing a chip in 1 of the 3 boxes marked "1st 12," "2nd 12," or "3rd 12." A winning dozen bet pays 2 to 1.

4.    Fifty Percent Bets    -    3 Boxes are found on the left, long side of the table.  Each box covers half of the numbers on the roulette wheel (not including 0 and 00) in a different way. A player can bet a 50% bet between red and black or even and off or high and low, depending on the box. These bets pay even money, 1 to 1.

5.    Five Bet    -    A Five bet covers numbers: 0, 00, 1, 2 and 3. A player will place his bet on the to the far right of the table on the boundary line, between 00 and 3. If either number hits, his five bets pays 6 to 1.

6.    Line Bet    -    A line bet covers the 6 different numbers in 2 rows of 3 numbers. ie: 1,2,3 together with 4,5,6. A player will place the chip on outer right boundary line of the roulette table, where the line dividing the 2 rows intersects it. If the ball stops at any one of the 6 numbers the player chose, it is a win, and the line bet pays 5 to 1.

7.    Split Bet    -    A split bet is a bet placed on 2 neighbouring numbers in the roulette table, done by placing the chip on the line dividing the 2 numbers. If the ball stops on any one of the 2 numbers, the players bet pays 17 to 1.

8.    Straight Up    -    Basic bet. The player puts his chips on a single number,  (0) and  (00). If the ball stops at his number, his bet pays 35 to 1.

9.    Street Bet    -    Street bets cover 3 numbers. The player places his chip on the outer right boundary line of the roulette table, next to the corresponding row of 3 numbers. If the ball stops on any 1 of the 3 numbers he wins. This bet pays 11 to 1.
