October 22 - As the big name pros are competing more regularly in European
poker events, Irish bookmaker Paddy Power has announced betting odds for the
2006/2007 European Poker Tour season...
Paddy Power
has announced outright betting odds as well as odds to make final table
for the Dublin leg of the tour, and plans to offer odds for all the events in
the Tour, which includes stopovers in London, Dublin, Copenhagen, Baden, Deauville
and Monte Carlo.

The Dublin EPT will see a
capacity field of 500 this year, and starts on October 26.
To make the final table of eight Paddy Power is offering the following odds:
- Gus Hansen 8-1
- Roy 'The Boy' Brindley 12-1
- Dave 'Devilfish' Ulliot 10-1
- Joe Hachem 16-1
- Mats Gavatin 16-1
- Donnacha O'Dea 16-1
- Tony Cascarino 25-1
- Isabelle Mercier 33-1
Last year's winner, Mats Gavatin, took down the first prize of ?317,000.
Further markets will be opened for the Dublin event, including match bets and
group betting.
