February 16 - Bodog.com, an online sportsbook, is offering betting on the Razzie awards on March 4. Paris Hilton has been nominated for the Razzie Award for "Most Tiresome Tabloid targets", and Bodog's odds on her winning the award are currently 9/2.
Paris Hilton's debut as an actress in the horror flick "House Of Wax"has also led indrectly to more Razzie Award nominations, this time for worst picture of the year. House Of Wax is an underdog in the betting according to Bodog, easy to back at 11/1. The favorite to win the award for worst movie of the year is "Son Of The Mask" although don't rule out "Dukes Of Hazzard" or "Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo".
Paris Hilton had a fairly quiet year in the public spotlight by her incredibly high standards of media-whoring. In fact, she isn't even the favorite in Bodog's book to win the award this year. That dubious honor belongs to Tom Cruise and his rather odd marriage and subsequent impregnation of Katie Holmes, plus all the surrounding hooplah regarding how the baby will be birthed and then cared for.
