February 25 - Online casino gambling giant PartyGaming has
announced an integrated online casino and online poker platform. The new
system features a single account facility between PartyPoker and PartyCasino...
Most analysts appear to see this is a vital growth ingredient.
"Customers will be able to move seamlessly between the poker and casino
products and won't have to redeposit funds." PartyGaming said.
Analysts responded favorably to Sportingbet's results after they attributed
part og their good results in 2005 to this type of integration. The primary
reason for this is the ability to offset weak margins on one products against
another. For example, customers who were drawn in by Super Bowl betting were
cross sold into casino and poker.
PartyGaming also said that they would add PartyBingo to this facility and
that two brand new products are nearing the end of the development cycle.
"We will launch a new game by June this year and another before the end of
this year" the group added.
PartyGaming shares climbed by 1.2 percent to 125 p bat midday yesterday which
places a value of about 5 billion pounds on the group.
