Playtech Blackjack Surrender uses 6 normal decks consisting of 52 cards
each. The decks form a shoe and the entire shoe is shuffled before each hand
is commenced. The dealer is forced to stand on a soft 17, and blackjack beats
any hand of 21 value.
Playtech Blackjack Surrender
Playtech Blackjack Surrender uses the standard Blackjack game rules,
based on the Vegas Strip version of the game. The only thing that differentiates
the Surrender version from the basic version is that here you have the option
of surrendering. You can apply standard Playtech strategy charts as a guide
to this game.
Playtech Blackjack Surrender Rules
Late Surrender
If at any point in th hand you feel that you are going to lose to the Dealer,
you have the option to Surrender. This allows you to give up half your bet as
a payment for not continuing with the hand, thus saving you from losing your
entire bet.
Splitting Rules
You can split any pair
If you Split a pair of Aces and then you draw a card with a 10 value, this
is not accepted to be a Blackjack, even though the total is 21
You do not have the option of Re-Splitting on any hand
If you decide to split a pair of Aces, each hand will then receive one more
card and then you must Stand.
Double Down Rules
You can only Double Down on first 2 cards that total 9, 10 or 11.
The value of the Doube Down bet is the same as your original bet
You can Double Down after you have decided to Split
You cannot Double Down on a Blackjack
Once you have Doubled Down, your hand/s will only receive one more card
and then they Stand.
Insurance Rules
You are offered the option of taking an Insurance bet whenever the Dealer is
showing an Ace. The Insurance bet amounts to half of your initial bet. The Insurance
bet pays out at odds of 2:1 If the Dealer actually is not holding a Blackjack,
you forfeit the Insurance bet amount.
