This could well be the biggest story of the 2006 WSOP, forcing Phil Hellmuth's 10th bracelet win to the back pages.
WSOP participants were terrified at the prospect of playing against the monkey, as being eliminated by a great ape is almost as bad as losing to a donkey - another animal well-represented at the Rio.
