September 9 - It comes as no surprise that Macintosh computer users are continuously struggling to find quality online poker offerings, as most of the software available today is geared towards PC users. While good brands are found here and there, what is lacking in the market is a good range of products that offers players diversity and quality at the same time.
PokerStars one of the most successful online poker operations in the world, has stepped up to the challenge and is proud to announce the launch of its brand new Mac version of its successful poker client.
The new software has been a long time in the pipeline, as PokerStars had the games developed and tested, and then retested, methodically so that there would be no faults when the product was finally launched. The company worked side by side with the developers in the hope of bringing its players one of the most successful Mac products in the gambling world and the industry is already abuzz with compliments.
"They didn't rush into a launch, but developed the best software for the platform, in line with Mac user feedback and advice, to ensure users have a positive experience," said top online poker player, Bertrand "Elky" Grosspellier.
Grosspellier has been all praises for PokerStars' new product, which comes two years after its rival site, Full Tilt Poker, launched its own Mac version in 2006. "PokerStars understand what gamers want," he said. "The community started asking for an acceptable online poker version for Mac and PokerStars stepped up to deliver it."
Joe Hachem, winner of the 2005 WSOP bracelet, also had positive words for the new Mac friendly offering. "This is a great addition for both PokerStars and the poker playing audience," he said. "This will allow Mac users to experience the world's largest online poker site without third party applications."
Hachem added that actors and musicians, who traditionally favored Macintosh over other applications, would be especially pleased with the new range of software and games.
