Prince of Sherwood Slot Review
Prince of Sherwood is the latest release in Real time Gaming's (RTG) new
slot arsenal. I have personally never been a great fan of RTG slots (and RTG
casinos on the whole), but with the latest multi-line slot releases, they have
done a great job in catching up.
The graphics, bonus features and jackpots have been improved so much, that I
rate these slots right up there with the best that Microgaming and Playtech have
to offer.
Prince of Sherwood is based on the legend of Robin Hood, complete with
evil knight and fair maiden. It is a 20 line slot game with 5 coins max per
game. The betting spread makes this slot game attractive, as you can play from
1c all the way up to $5 per line.
The Robin Hood symbol appears on reels one and five only, and it is the Wild
symbol, substituting for all other symbols except the Castle, Archery Board
(Bonus Game symbol). It doubles to payout on the winning line. The jackpot is
won when you hit 5 Evil Knights. The scatter symbol in this game is the Castle,
and pays in multiples of your bet up to 100 times for 5 scatters.
Now the best thing in this game is the bonus round. If you hit an Archery
Board on the first three reels, you enter the bonus round that runs in two
stages. In the first stage, the archer takes a hot at the target, and your
triggering bet is multiplied by the number he hits. he takes another shot, where
depending on what he hits, you win a certain number of free spins, and a
multiplier up to 6 times during the free spins. You could hit it big during the
free spins.
Finally, the games has a random jackpot, and you could be the lucky player
that wins it!
