Ravens Packers Points Spread Update for NFL Betting - 12-07-09
December 7 - NFL betting action should be brisk tonight as the Green Bay Packers take on the Baltimore Ravens, and the latest news about the points spread is that the home favorite is finding plenty of support. The line opened at -3 but a number of offshore bookies have been forced to push that out to -3.5 points as the Packers are getting plenty of play.
The points total for the game opened at 44 points but this has been bet down to 43 points as it looks like a typical December Frozen Tundra in Green Bay.
Both teams come in with hot form to their credit. The Ravens won in OT last time out in a division grudge match against the Steelers, although that form was hardly franked by the defending Super Bowl champs as they produced their 4th egg in a row yesterday at home to the Raiders. The Packers have won 3 straight and produced plenty of points along the way. They are now 7-4 and seem to have some momentum.
Both these teams have also been slightly profitable to follow ATS this season. The Packers are 6-4-1 from 11 starts while the Ravens are 6-5. Baltimore have of course dropped a lot of close ones this season and could easily be 9-2 both SU and ATS if fate had smiled on them.
Baltimore are one of the best road teams in the league ATS though, so keep that in mind. They have secured the money 10 of their last 14 times on the road, so play against them tonight at your peril!
