Panthers have always enjoyed a long-standing rivalry as part of the AFC
South division. That said, in recent years the Panthers have proven to
be the dominant team, last season being no exception. While the New
Orleans Saints scrabbled to use their superb defense to prop up their
poor defense to end the season 8-8, the Panthers shined all year to
finish 12-4 and earn a coveted spot in the playoffs. Although that's
where their championship ended, the Panthers should be a tough act to
follow for the Saints this season. |
