November 1 - The Seattle Seahawks and the Dallas Cowboys may not be carving up the 2011-12
NFL season so far judging by their lackluster records so far, but that is not
too say that they won't deliver some action-packed football in their Sunday
showdown in the Lone Star State. The Cowboys are currently third in the NFC
East on 3-4, while amazingly the Seahawks are second in the NFC West on 2-5.
(The Cardinals and the Rams are both sitting on 1-6 this season, while
divisional leaders the 49ers are streaking ahead on 6-1.)
Sunday's game kicks off at 1:00 pm ET at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas,
and the Cowboys will start as the overwhelming -12 point favorites as per the
Seahawks Cowboys odds, even though they were
thrashed 34-7 last Sunday by the Philadelphia Eagles.

Seattle Seahawks Are Big NFL Betting Underdogs
The great thing about NFL teams with losing records is that often times when
they go into games as the betting underdogs, sometimes they manage to pull out
the most dazzling - and even winning - performances. Whether that will happen to
the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday is probably doubtful, but it sure would make for
an interesting game between these two disappointing NFL franchises.
On Sunday the Seattle Seahawks lost 12-34 to the Cincinnati Bengals and
before that 6-3 to the Cleveland Browns, so they are overdue a victory if they
have any hope of turning a losing season into a winning one. But to pull off a
win, Seattle need to exploit every Cowboys weakness they can, and a glaring one
is Dallas quarterback Tony Romo, who folded under the pressure last weekend.
If the Seahawks' defense can put Romo under the same kind of pressure on
Sunday, there is little doubt that the flow of the Cowboys' game will be
interrupted, which could give Seattle the opportunity they need to rack up a
victory. And if they pull off a win, they'll have succeeded in revealing the
Dallas Cowboys to be the highly overrated team many NFL betting fans feel they
are.
Dallas Cowboys Have to Turn Their Season Around
If expectations were worth dollars as opposed to actual results, the Dallas
Cowboys would be zillionaires. While many fans expected the Cowboys to wrangle
up a winning season from the get go, they have only managed to win three out of
seven games so far this season, which is why they need to turn their season
around now by taking out the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.
After having their backsides handed to them last week by the Philadelphia
Eagles, the Cowboys will no doubt be motivated to send the Seahawks back to
Seattle, tails firmly between their legs. However, to do that they need to
tighten up their game quite a bit, starting with Romo, who needs to focus much
more considering he completed just 18 out of 35 passes last weekend.
Plus, the Dallas defense will have to come up with a workaround to offset the
absence of playmaker linebacker Sean Lee, who will more than likely miss
Sunday's game due to a dislocated left wrist he suffered during the last play of
the first quarter against the Eagles. But if they can pull together as a team,
and minimize their errors, the Cowboys should triumph over the Seahawks.
Seahawks Cowboys Prediction
Up to now in the season neither the Seahawks nor the Cowboys have
particularly impressed, but perhaps for one of these NFL teams redemption will
begin on Sunday. For our betting buck, the NFL oddsmakers have it right and the
home team will be tough to beat.
