based on the wonderful and ever popular children's story. The game supplier
has definitely put a lot into designing this game. From the opening sequence
to the reels and symbols and the imaginative bonus game, every detail feels
as if care has been taken, staying true to the spirit of the story - with an
extra horticultural aspect added on. An excellent job, and well done to them.
The basic structure of the game is that it has 5 reels with 20 paylines for
you to bet on - although of course you only have to bet on one if you prefer.
Coin size ranges from 1c to 50c, making for a maximum bet of $100 (betting is
restricted to one coin per line). The first important symbol is the Duck - it
acts as a wild symbol and also promises the highest payout in the normal game
- get 5 of them and you're looking at 5,000 coins. Then there's the scatter
Garden Door, which not only acts as the scatter symbol, but also triggers the
free spins game. How many you get depends on how many Garden Doors you get:
3 of them get you 20 free spins, 4 get you 30 and 5 get you a massive 50 free
spins - all at a 2x multiplier.
Secret Garden has a bonus feature that is activated when you get 3 or
more Master Key symbols. This symbol unlocks a really cool video arcade type
maze game, with multiple screens. You have to control the gardener as he waters
the garden, in order to win bonus prizes. It's a layered game, so you get prizes
for watering the plants and more water to continue, and then more keys to enter
the other parts of the garden. The more flowers you water, the further you get
and the more money you win.
This is a quite a special slot that I really enjoyed playing. The attention
to detail is excellent, game play is smooth, payouts are great and it's a lot
of fun.
