July 7 - Slotland, the online casino with its own unique slots designs, is
the first online casino too announce that its games work on the the new Apple
iPhone. Many different games are reported not to work, by Slotland reports that
it has tested its games and new iPhone owners can spin away at their hearts
content.

The Apple iPhone was launched this week and supports a proprietary interface,
which means that many exiting applications won't work until they are converted
to the platform. It appears as if the IPhone at this stage does not support
standard Java and Flash, although it does support html and xml which is exactly
where the Slotland games come into their own as the are entirely based on html.

Apple's Safari browser is built into the iPhone, so applications that work in
the Safari browser are OK, and all Slotland's games work in the browser.
The technology was developed to be cross platform compatible. It also
operates on many Web-TV platforms.
