The took a bath on this game, with the Favorites, Korea winning 2-1 against a feisty Togo team. Everyone was on Korea, as Togo moved a full 100 points from opening line to kick off. There was money bet on the Under in this game, allowing the sportsbooks to get a little back. On a whole, this was not a good game for the bookies.

France and Switzerland play to a 0-0 Draw

Boring, boring, boring. That is how to describe the France opener Tuesday. Wednesday will see the conclusion of group first phase matches. The unpredictable Spain take on Ukraine who will have the new Chelsea mega bucks signing Shevchenko leading their attack, and Tunisia (first team to be backed when lines went up at evens) play Saudi Arabia in match 2 of group h.

Spain -110 vs Ukraine +300

Spain, the perennial under achievers starts their Tournament Wed against Ukraine. This team is loaded with talent: Raul, Casillas, Cesc and Reyes and I expect them to score. Their opponents, the Ukraine were the 1st team, aside from the Hosts to qualify and only lost 1 game during qualification, a 1-0 anomaly to Turkey. Ukraine will live and die on Shevchenko, the team's all time leading scorer and one of the most exciting strikers in the world. Spain and Ukraine have played each other twice, both times in 2004, with Spain winning at home 2-1 and drawing the Ukraine 2-2 on the road. I expect Spain to win this game by 1 goal, with my final pre 2-1. I like the -110 offered by BetWWTS and I really like the over in this game.

Tunisia -120 vs Saudi Arabia +333

Like the Toga vs Korea, game on Tuesday, I am not very familiar with these teams. After speaking to our bookmaker, the money is coming in on Tunisia, although this is a stay away game for the public.

Germany -200 vs Poland +600

The third match kicks off phase 2 with the host nation Germany taking on bitter rivals Poland in what should be a feisty affair , Poland can only improve after a shocking performance against Ecuador in their first match, and could well get something from this game.
