February 21 - DoylesRoom.com, a very popular online poker room, has
announced that it will close its US-facing operations. The company blames the
aftermath of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act, stating that difficulties
in payment processing added to the decision...
Wit immediate effect, Doyles Room Poker will not allow new US players to sign
up, and on Match 1, 2007 they will close all existing US account. The good news
for non-US players is that Doyles Room will continue to support them.
A company spokes person said: "following the passing of the UIGEA and the all
the difficulties experienced with Neteller's and other processors
withdrawing from the USA, the DoylesRoom.com management team has decided with
some reluctance not to permit online real money play by US-based players any
longer".

The good news for US based account holders is that Doyles Room has negotiated
a deal with Full Tilt Poker. Players will be able to transfer their Doyles Room
loyalty points to Full Tilt Poker.
To qualify, players will require to
register with Full Tilt Poker and provide Doyles Room with their email
address and Full Tilt ID (the system makers provision for this) .Those with
existing Full Tilt accounts are not eligible for the $600 new player bonus, but
