2006/07 Record: 8-8.
2006/07 Verdict: If you think the NFL is all about the team and not the individual then take a look at these stats, that strength of schedule (the toughest in the league) and explain to us how the Titans won 5 games let alone the 8 they managed to scrounge. Vince Young won those games, the majority at the death, and he did it all by himself, usually by scampering away in the midst of a broken play. The bad news for the Titans is that we're not the only ones who have worked this out. Defensive head coaches are ready to make Young the next Vick (not by encouraging him to fund a dogfighting ring, but by stopping him at any cost).
2007/08 Mycapper.com Prediction: DOWN
The Titans are going to finish below .500 this season. Vince Young is s superb athlete, but the magic show will come to an abrupt end this season as opposing teams force other Titans to beat them, and that will not happen frequently enough for this team to repeat their 8-game trick from 06/07. The betting value has to be to fade the Titans, and if Young gets injured (which is likely given his playing style) then they could finish with the worst record in the NFL.
