At least now fans of the Indianapolis
Colts can breathe a sigh of relief after their team won their first game
of the season against the Tennessee Titans last time out 27-13, to go
1-13. However, unlike the Titans (who have to live with the
embarrassment of being dispatched by the absolute worst team in the NFL),
the Houston Texans are unlikely to fall so easily to AFC South rivals in
what has been called an NFL key game on Thursday at Lucas Oil Stadium in
Indianapolis. Sure, the Houston Texans may have already finished top of
their division, guaranteeing themselves a spot in the playoffs, and even
if they do "dumb down" their level of play on Thursday in an effort to
protect themselves for what should be tough post season games, chances
are they'll still be able to take down the lackluster Colts. That said,
it will be interesting to see how the Colts will use the much-needed
confidence they got from their one and only win so far this season. For
our betting buck, probably better than expected. Which is why we'll be
putting a few bucks on the Colts.
