February 23 - For the first time, the eCommerce Online Gaming Regulation and Assurance (eCOGRA) group is awarding its prestigious Fair and Safe seal to bingo sites in the gaming industry, it was revealed last week.
In time to celebrate its fifth anniversary of operations in the gaming market, this industry watchdog group announced that three more sites would be awarded the seal to show their commitment to fair gaming, transparency and high industry values.
Interwetten online casino will now carry the Fair and Safe seal, together with the two online bingo sites, the Jackpot Factory Group's All Bingo Club and Platinum Play Bingo from the Fortune Lounge Group.
The Chief Executive Officer for eCOGRA, Andrew Beveridge said about group's fifth year anniversary: "eCOGRA can look back on the last five years with some satisfaction."
"It has seen our standards, inspection and monitoring systems and professional staff expand to embrace all the main internet gambling platforms, from mobile, live dealer and bingo, through sports to casino and poker," he said.
"Going forward, we intend to remain at the leading edge of online gambling standards and player protection in a dynamic and challenging high tech industry," said Beveridge, "constantly ensuring that our standards and systems are current with technology and best business practice."
The Vice President for the Jackpot Factory Group, David Brickman said: "Our poker and casino operations have all qualified for the practical and valuable Fair and Safe seal accreditation over the years, and it's good to know that our bingo operations also measure up to these high operational standards."
