December 28 - The Minnesota Vikings play their division foes the Chicago Bears on a Monday Night Football match up that should be one-sided in favor of the road team according to the latest NFL spread betting lines.
The Vikings have a sparkling record for the season and the line opened with the road team favored by 7.5 points. That's no surprise when you factor in that they are led by Brett Favre, the overrated, arrogant, blowhard, whiny, dumb and charismatic (if you like Lee jeans, quad biking fatalities, and deer hunting while beer drinking) QB. The betting public loves to bet on Brett particularly on Monday Night Football where you can tune in for three hours of Madden's never-ending bromance with Favre.
The latest line for the game is now Vikings -9 points at some offshore bookmakers, although there is a lot of variance with some sports books pricing the game at -8 and -7.5 still available at DSI and Bet Jamaica.
The Over/Under for total points opened at 42 points and is now trading steady at 41 or 41.5 points across the betting board.

Much as we dislike Brett one has to say that the Bears are plain awful this year and we still think the Vikings will win and cover, and then go on to lose their first game in the playoffs. You can definitely bet on that!
