Will Google Process Online Gambling Transactions

October 21 - There are many rumors making the rounds that Google will enter the online payments market. If these are true, it will be interesting to see if they will allow for the processing of online gambling payments...

Online Gambling and online casino sites rely on a variety of payment methods for players to be able to deposit cash. Paypal stopped offering the processing of online gambling payments when it was acquired by eBay a couple of years ago. Online gambling sites had to scramble to fins new deposit method, especially as these has been a clamp down on credit card deposits. Many deposit methods have sprung to life since Paypal's decision. Online gambling operators are hoping that Google will allow deposits to online gambling sites. It is even thought by some that this will bring some growth to the industry, as many people will trust Google Wallet more than the other payment options available (although there are many methods that can be trusted, such as Neteller and Moneybookers).

Google will probably consider supporting online gambling transactions because of the huge profits involved. However, it remains to be seen if the actually go though with the wallet, and in the light of not offering gambling advertising any more, whether they will have an appetite for gambling transactions.
