September 29 - The world's largest Free Roll Poker tournament was won
by "Boon", a chef from Blackpool in England yesterday.

Poker made history when it launched its Million Dollar free roll and
thousands of players entered the tournament. It proved to be such a success,
that Paradise Poker have immediately announced that they will rerun the
tournament...
Nine players qualified for the final table, which was held at a swank resort
in Tahiti.. After 6 grueling hours, two players were left. The final heads up
was a cautious affair, with neither player making a move. Boon, who at one stage
said that even his teeth were shaking, made the first assertive move, and with a
big chip lead at that point, pushed his opponent all in. His cards held up, and
he became the first ever "free: tournament millionaire.
